Not only usefull, but fun to play with too.
I have one on each set of my keys. Can latch them to briefcase or belt loop or, attach other keyrings or...

I have only the one....who knows what the future holds. I honestly didn't think I "needed" a carabiner, and didn't see myself using the chain. Well, I haven't put the chain into use yet, but am SO glad I have one as I have an idea for how it'll fill a need...

As for the Droid, I found a 'quick release' way to use it when I need it! I have the Droid with a split ring attached - when I go to walk my dogs, or really any time I'm not in a suit dressed for work, I loop the original lanyard through the split ring and clip the Droid to my belt loop. That way I am able to leave the original lanyard attached (with the tiny ti bead). Then when I am carrying the Spy in a suit pocket, or using it during the night, I can easily detach the Droid but still have the lanyard.

Darn Droid is so cool.
