Way to go Rob!
count me in!
That is a cool and unique design. I could see it useful in many situations.![]()
Looks damn cool. I shall keep an eye out for this beauty becoming available *fingers crossed*
Great looking light Rob, I am new to this sort of thing, but to me this looks spot on, really looking forward to this being made availible for sale.
I like the fact that the variable resistance system will be controlled mechanically. I am always distrustful of electronic control systems.
Rob, will the LE be easily changable like the Ns and Wee?
Great looking light Rob.![]()
I'm still not a fan of that relector though. Even though it may produce a good beam, I cannot help but associate it with plastic torches from Poundland. It looks out of place on a quality flashlight like this. Can the same effect be achieved with a smooth or textured reflector?
Any updates?
Machine shop busy with end of month ATM. Should be some progress during the beginning of March.
I got to play with the prototype last night at the UK London CPF meet.
It's really cool, every bit as good as it looks, and the dimming is nice and smooth.
We had all sorts of lights out on the table, big, very big, std, modded, antique. But everyone wanted to have a play with the prototype.
Cheers for driving all the way to London Rob.
Correct. The Fraen reflector will not be used beyond this proto. We will machine out own reflector from SS.
Mark.
Looks great, Rob. Have to add another lummi to the collection! This may even see more use than the raw!
+1 on aluminum, this light's primary attraction is it's headband-ability, and light-weight is #1 for that use!
Sounds good. So I take it we won't have pricing info until then?
Thanks!
I'll take one in Damascus steel. j/k, hope I didn't make you pop any vessels Rob.I still lust over a Da though, bummed I missed out on that run.
But I'm definitely in for a MiL!
Whats going on..? Please put me down for Damascus MiL, I can prepay if you so wish.

Again, guys, DON'T hold your breath for a Da MiL, I would think that it would be WAY down on Rob's priority list, well after the VBC Wee and Raw, and I think we'll be lucky to see those this year. Also, in my opinion, this light would not look good in damascus - too utilitarian, and with the 90 degree bend I don't think the damascus "grain" would show the best, whereas with the straight Wee and Raw it looked good and elegant. This is more of a HA III light.
Just my $0.02,
Greg
Also regarding a Da MiL: After the Wee Da Rob mentioned he´d never make a damascus light again. Never say never but I´m still pretty sure it´s not going to happen.

Move Through The Light .... With Caution
My Collection.... just click on me if interested (not addicted anymore version V2.0 reduced from 77 lights)
Pretty much correct Eric, I have never mentioned a MiL Da. One thing that could be considered for the MiL is perhaps a Damascus Bezel & or tail/rotary knob.
But just for now I will concentrate on getting the MiL produced in Aluminium.
I know Ill be happy with a Alu version when will the Ti Wee have the variable system.

I don't think this has been covered, but I believe the light has orings throughout. How water proof will it be?
