Have you ever considered putting a body tube on this, maybe 2-18650's or a 26650. Would be a bit different, a dual head flashlight. Would really put all triples and quads to shame.

Yes, I have definitely thought about it, but the cost to manufacture a small number is too great!

Perhaps finding an existing body that could somehow be mated. The head would need enough internal space (on the correct side) to accept it.

It would definitely be worthwhile, I purchased one so that I can hook up an external pack via wire and mount a handle, I figure that will be good enough for me.

Well if your thinking of building from scratch, I'd like to offer a few ideas. 26650 or dual 18650 bodies, two styles of heads; one premade such as this sales thread and one with 2 D-26 drop ins. On my bike I've got an XM-l at 3 amps and a triple xp-g r5 next to it they really compliment each other well one throwning a nice long beam the other flooding. Superimposed over each other its a nice throw with great flood.

I have two of your gili's and i just love them, still blown away every time i flick them to high. Keep getting tempted to buy more housings but I dont need them and dont wanna get stung trying to sell them (although they are a bargain compared to anything that comes close on commercial market).

I just rebuilt my housing with Nichia 219, Maxflex 6, and Carlco 10510 elliptical optics. This combo is making me very happy so far.

Just ordered 4 of the new triple XP-G2 boards from cutter now that they have them in 1C, to fit in my two lights. Hoping to be impressed.
P.s. will have 4x triple xp-g r5 20mm boards going in the UK if anyone is interested?
