If money is no object, what would be your optimal lights in these categories:

LED/Non-LED EDC?

LED/Non-LED 2D - 6D?

Spotlight?

Superlight?

EDC: Arc LS4 or LS5, SF KL7.
2-6D: A multiple 5W mod for my 6D with tight throw, or a EL Blaster.
Spotlight: SF M6 or 10X, Turbohead for my 8AX (which I may get soon).
Superlight: A huge array of 5W's in my car headlights.

I'd have a custom made that had the best technology at the time that's small enough to fit in my pocket and keep updating it as newer and better technology came out. It would be made out of plastic or titanium, have a clickie tail switch, be water resistant to at least 100 feet, have a Pyrex lens, machined reflector, LED bulb (regulated), take lithium or rechargeable batts, have the options for clip and/or lanyard attachments, and [insert wishlist here /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif].

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had the entire thing written and my cpf ate it!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

one of my edcs:
2-123/3-123 light. x3u emitter overdriven at 2amps. emitter has been disected to beef up the gold wires, and remove the slug, so the die could be directly transplanted on a huge carved diamond integral heatsink, taking up the entire head. special reflector and diamond-carved optical system allow a wide focal range.
rotate the head to dim or brighten the light accordingly.
waterproof >500feet.
titanium body, black ha3 annodyzed with silver inlay-accents. covered in a diamond-dust clear cote to give empenetrable finish.

2d:
similar in size to a mag 2d, but wider to allow many rechargable batteries.
25 x3u 5w emitters, overdriven at 1.5amps on a diamond heatsink taking up the entire head. same anodyzing and coating as above.
feaures a special optical lens system similar to cameras that allow a supertight-wide beam of light. fully dimmable.
instead of a push button switch (like the mag), it feactures 20switches arranged in a circle around the light, and a tailswitch at the base. allowing ease of operation.

spot/superlight
overdriven madman hid system housed in a megaray package.

LED EDC= get lumileds brightest prototype LED, bring it over to SureFire and get them to design a custom head that looks cool kinda like a kl3 with many different battery bodies so i can use all batteries, then make a couple of hundred to distribute on cpf, free of charge /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

LED/Non-LED EDC?
-Waiting for some vaporwares right now...

LED/Non-LED 2D - 6D?
-Don't really have one...

Spotlight?
5+MCP handheld that's smaller than my fist...

Superlight?
Luxor hyperlight (on top of the Luxor hotel in Vegas)...

Money not being an object, and the objective here being attainable, in existence and production, I'd go for a Megaray...

Not at all sure it exists...

Want something the size of my Minim*g that puts out like my SNII and that lasts like an Opalec...

Don't want much do I?

In reality, I want one of Mr.Bulks 6AA ABs for my SNII (but shudder at 75 bucks) and an E2 or E2E with a LED module (again shudder at the cost).

I think I can live with what I've got (might be especially true when my 3C Twin Task arrives).

This one doesn't exist [Yet].

Three stage regulated light no larger than an A2:

1) Low - like the low of an A2 [3 LED]
2) Med - like an L4 [nice white flood]
3) Hi - like a P61 [for throw]

Three stage clickie tailcap that locks on Hi beam.

I think it is possible ... Surefire reading this?
