Hello Ken, good to see you're still around on CPF. I'm keeping an eye on the GTA thread.

I just ordered a Malkoff MD3/4 (with XP-G emitters). I'm looking forward to that one coming but it will probably take a while from the US and I always get hit by import duty too. Should be worth it though as I've been waiting for the XP-G version for some time. This will be my first torch purchase in about 5 months.

I just realised I can now say "torch" without being mocked repeatedly.

I misread the tfl website earlier. The last tube train for me is at 00:16 actually and I'm going all the way to the other end of the northern line. So plenty of time for pizza etc.

hey guys, im not a daily cpf user latley but im in the uk and i had no idea there was get togethers in the UK i live about a 5hour drive (i think) from london so its a bit of a trek for me but i sure hope to come along to one of the get togethers soon

I confused my father by telling him about my new flashlight.

It is becoming contageous... I am British and speak British English (why do I even have to say 'British' in front?) and the word for a portable electronic light powered by batteries in 'English' is a TORCH!!!

No, but there are Paid Subscription options for you to become a CPF Benefactor, which will appear next to your name instead of 'Flashoholic'.

Do a lot of you guys actually live inside London? Would be good to have a meet somewhere just outside London, Hampstead would be a bugger to get to for me. Im in Camberley, Surrey. Just SW of London. Theres plenty lovely country pubs and North Downs etc to walk on... just a thought. Have a good time at the meet, dont dazzle too many barmaids/Hampstead Heath doggers lol.
