I have a Mag mod that I like to do. I've searched the forums for help but I couldn't find a definative answer.

parts list:
3 warm MCEs
3 SB drivers
2 Trustfire 18650 (grey)

Everything will be wired in parrallel. This will just be a show light.

My question:

Will the current draw be unsafe for the batteries?

Thanks for the help.

Those two trustfire's may not maintain the 4A output required (2.8A x3mce's / 2 batteries ).
It will be hard on the cell's and theoretically will shorten their service life.
3 Li-co cells would be better. IMR cells would help too. Cells are the bottle neck, improving power supply and you'll see increased output.

Also check Download's multi-lux driver post, with the 8x 7135 driver you can use a single board, 3 emitters, and 3 cells. Property inherent in the amc7135 emitter regulating current in the whole circuit
