Thread: Outdoorsman led dropin?

    Thinking Outdoorsman led dropin?

I have tried doing research on this site but just get confused. I am looking for a simple drop in unit to turn my incandescent Surefire Outdoorsman into an LED light. I don't want to spend more for the Surefire LED head than I spent on the original light.

If someone could let me know if such a unit exists and who sells them, I would be very appreciative.

    thanks,

    John

Okay, this isn't exactly a cheap option but it is widely considered the best option:

Get a Valiant Concepts Malkoff E head aka "VME bezel" and a Malkoff M60 or M61. You will get more than 90-120 minutes of runtime and 200-300 lumens, an incredible upgrade for a great older light. If 200-300 lumens seems too bright, try the M60L or M60LL.
