Hello,
I am planning on modifying my current boots to have more traction on most surfaces. Now granite appears to be more wear resistant then the sheet metal screws that I use now for better traction, the only problem is how do I get the granite to strongly bound to the rubber(or have a strong bound between the adhesive and the granite)? Beside roughing up the surface of the granite is there anything else I should do to prepare the surface for gluing? Also what type of adhesive should I use? I was looking at the "simpson strong tie anchoring epoxy" or the "pc products pc 7 epoxy paste" if both of these are consider inadequate please do share!
Thanks for reading!
