Can I use the P60L in a solarforce body with a 18650 battery?

Two issues off the top of my head:

I've tried running the P60 LED drop-in from a single 3.7v LiIon, unfortunately it's output is about halved, so you're talking only ~40 lumens or so. Other drop-ins do far better on a single cell, such as the Malkoff, for example.

The other thing is that the SolarForce hosts have a rather large diameter spring recess in the head end (for the larger diameter solarforce module spring). I'm running a comparably-sized SureFire lamp assembly in a SolarForce host and I need to use a washer to provide enough of a shoulder for the narrower-diameter SureFire spring to reference correctly.

So while you can do it, there are far better configurations - if I was you & had the SureFire P60 LED module, I'd sell it on CPF/MP for ~US$25 or so and get a Dereelight or SolarForce drop-in: far better output on a single LiIon, plus a correct-diameter spring that will fit your SolarForce host much better.

Hope this helps,
K
