SOLD to TooManyGizmos

Hey Guys,

Up for sale is my DeCree-XPG from Elektrolumens, excellent condition.

From Wayn'e site:
325 lumens! 20mm collimator, 5.5 degrees piercing beam, mineral glass lens, twisty on/off/momentary tail cap switch, 6061 aircraft aluminum, beautifully machined and meticulously anodized a super high quality black finish. Uses one 18650 Lithium-Ion rechargable battery (not included.), run time is approximate 2 hours. The Cree XPG LED has a pure white narrow beam with small amount of side spill.

I own a bunch of XPG lights, but they have minimal throw. Wayne hit the nail on the head with the 5.5 degree optic, this thing throws!

I liked it so much, I brought a 2nd one. It's just sitting on the shelf and Wayne is sold out of these until May. So I figured I'd let someone else have a chance to own one.

Price is 70.00 SHIPPED via USPS 1st Class with Del Conf.
PayPal only to: [email protected]

The 1st "I'll take it" AND "PayPal Sent" gets it.

Mine did 300ish OTF lumens with 1.2A at the tail and AW 2600mAh cell.

The current at the tail varies from sample to sample....If you get lucky you might have a 1.4~1.6A sample:poke: You have to check of course, but at this price its given away for sure.

I brought my 1st DeCree from Bigchelis and I paid 85.00.
He paid about 100 for it.
A week later I saw them on sale for 60 + Shipping @ Elektrolumens.
I couldn't pass it up and grabbed the last one.

Will they be on sale for 60.00 when Wayne gets them going again?
Who knows:)

Re: [WTS]: Elektrolumens DeCree-XPG

Thanks Ray,

I don't expect any delivery problems. I've never had one lost/undelivered. It should arrive within 7 days.

"SHIPPED via USPS 1st Class with Del Conf." ... I'm hoping this means I have to sign for it , so you'll know I got it.

Just thought I'd ask , so we're both in agreement .

Thanks

If ya click on Add to cart, on Waynes site , it says :
Out of Stock. There are only -1 of these in stock. Your order will be filled with what is in stock and the rest will be shipped later.

So ......... who's gonna get that last one ?

I got this one last week from Wayne, he told me it was the last one.
Think he forgot to update his site :)

Unfortunately Del Conf does not request a signature.
If you want, I can insure it for you, but it would be at your cost.
According to the USPS web site: $50.01 to $100 Fee is $2.25

Feel free to send that amount via PP and I will insure it.
This way a signature is required.

If not, I will send it with just delivery conf.

Just let me know what you decide.

Hi Ray ,

I got the light. Very bright , like new , not a scratch on it , thanks .

I wanted a pocket light , so I was a little disappointed at it's larger size. On the site you linked to , Wayne describes it as 4 3/8" long but it's actually 5" long , but I will make good use of it.

Check your receipt and see if they charged for insurance and signature delivery .
I did not have to sign for it. It was just sent with a delivery confirmation label and left in the mail box. No insurance , no sig. required. It said $7.90 was postage for the box which seems a little Hi . So it seems you may not have gotten what we paid for . Good thing it was not mis-delivered .... we'd never have known it's whereabouts and it would have been a problem with no insur. or sig.

But I got it , and we were saved from the jeers forum due to an error in postage . Sometimes you do all you can do , pay extra , and it's still not enough to guarantee it's delivered properly.

Thanks for the light Ray .

I paid for the postage through the Postal machine at the PO.
My receipt shows it insured for 80.00, plus I upgraded your shipping at my cost from 1st Class to Priority.

When you ship through the postal machine, it tells you to remove any DC or Insurance labels because that info is recorded on the postage label.

So if it did get lost, we would have been covered for 80 bucks. :)
No clue about your postal worker not asking for a signature, maybe he/she was in a rush?

Anyway, don't shine it in your eyes an enjoy.

It was in a Priority box , but it just had a Label on it for del. conf. for the carrier to scan the barcode when he delivered it.

It did not have the colored sticker on it which requires the signature of the receiver , which he returns to the post office .

I don't think it had the proper label on it.
I could have claimed I didn't receive it , (since there was no proof) , and they could not have proven that I did.

Or am I confusing it with Registered mail ? Which gives YOU proof that I received it and signed for it. Is a signature NOT required for insured stuff ? Postal reguirements confuse me .

Just being placed in my mail box does not insure that I took possession of it. Anyone could remove it before I do.

What proves I got it so we can't file an insurance claim ?

Well glad you got it, we would have been covered either way.

Enjoy

FYI- Any package I ever received insured always required a signature.
I didn't add signature confirmation because insurance requires a sig.
