    Default (CLOSED) Parallel 3x18650 Megalennium

    (C L O S E D)

    3x18650 MEGALENNIUM

    NO RESERVATION
    FIRST PAY, FIRST SERVE

YOU WON'T BE IN LIST BEFORE YOU PAY

Here is very limited quantity of 3x18650 Megalennium in form of parallel battery connectors.
These 3x18650 body / tail cap for M6 are CNC machined from solid 6061 durable aircraft aluminum alloy with few changes and improvements compare to first run serial 3x18650 Megalenniums.
Mill spec hard anodizing is much more durable, tail side threads are slightly thicker and stronger, tail switch cover is better water resistance and easier to operate.
Body is only 3mm fatter than original M6 but 20mm shorter. Therefore it is eazier to carry and better balance.
Takes 3 protected 18650 connected in parallel for total of 3.7 volt to power up LEDs only.
Do not use any incand such as MN20 or MN21 with this set up.
For 8.4 volt operation, you can install 6 IMR 18350 and all 6 cells positive in first.
No external battery holder required. Integrated battery connectors are installed and come with body.
Body and tail cap involved with a lot of machine work to ensure it will give you same reliability and feeling with original body while you get much more power and longer run time per charge and forget about primary cells.
Tail cap is designed to work with optional McClickie switch and tail cap comes with adapter and black switch cover.
It is possible to use AW's protected 2200 or 2600mAh batteries or IMRs.
Installing your McClickie switch is as easy of installing M*g tail cap. If Gary can do it, you will be easily able to do it in less than a minute or use optional McClickie installed.
Each $129 body comes with parallel battery connectors, front o'ring, double tail orings, tail cap, switch housing ring and switch boot. NO head, NO lamp or socket, NO Batteries and NO charger included.
Each $139 body comes with parallel battery connectors, front o'ring, double tail orings, tail cap, Installed McClickie switch in sleeve and switch boot.
Simply install 3x18650 batteries , M head with proper LED module and ready to go.
Please make sure to install ALL 3 batteries Positive to head side. All battery contacts are marked P as Positive and N as Negative.

NO RESERVATION please. Payment required before I put you in the list.
For ducumentation purpose, it is necessary to pick next available number, post your CPF handle and detail of your order here and paypal note.

    No,
McClickie only. It's easier to get replacement and handles high current very well.

I wonder how these would power a SST-90.

I am also interested to find which LED modules members are proposing to use. I know the SST-90s are high draw but are there tower module versions available?

    Nailbender makes D36 drop-ins that run off 3~6v in SST-50 and SST-90.

The M3 bezel is D36 as the D36 drop-ins too. I think this is perfect for those who have the D36 SST-50, P7, MC-E, or SST-90 M3 lights.

Oh and what about those who have the M6 LED towers with XR-E, MC-E, ect....

+1 on what would be the possible LAs that we can use with this setup. Can the tailcap accommodate the switch that was offered with the first run of the 3x18650 serial bodies?

    for #07 Parallel Megalennium + McClickie + Shipping = $147

Thanks for making these... can't wait to get one of the serial ones as well when you have them ready!

Question: Is there going to be some kind of markings on this to differentiate this from the serial bodies are you going to be making?

There are polarity marks etched into both ends. Can't miss them.

McClicky works great with 1x26650 Megalennium and I never had problem with. Parallel 3x18650 will hold voltage very well and run much longer. (3x2600=7800mAh @ 3.7 Volt)

You will need one of these with proper bezel.

Assuming the module can take it, would it be possible to run 6x CR123 primaries in a 2S3P 6v configuration in an emergency?

Even better...What about loading it with 6 IMR 16340 cells. That would put it in the 8.4V range and there are Lumens Factory Incan bulbs for it as well as bi-pin kit Litho bulbs for that lower input voltage too.

    Now I am excited.

Hmmm, what kind of resistance is the mcclicky going to see from 6 x IMR cells?

It is possible but wouldn't it be better to carry extra set of 18650 for an emergancy?

For 8.4 volt operation, 2x26500 Megalennium will serve much better with longer run time, less voltage sag and fewer cell to recharge.

It works fine with my upcoming ROP head with 2x26500 M6

Received my parallel body today. I love the new button varooj. The glossy HA is also a nice touch, and makes it very easy to know the difference between the series and the parallel bodies.

    Well done.
