An atrocity to have to modify a $150 lite to get it to work properly.
Seems like the dealers are not doing us a service to sell lites that are inoperable and then say send it to the manufacturer.
Yet are we not doing them a srevice in patronizing their dealership.
These are high end lites!!
My Mclux came with a disclaimer and out-performs this L4
by far.
My usual cheeriness,

What happened with your light?

My L4 works flawlessly and definitely, hands down, out-performs the McLux.

It sounds like something is really wrong with yours if your McLux is brighter. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I hope you get this all resolved.

Mrdi,

If you're refering to the gasket problem, that's one of the misadventures I expect when I get the first ones off the line. Now that I have an L4 with gaskets, I'm really pleased. To me, it's worth every penny. Even with having to send it back to SureFire it's worth it.

BTW, what's the significance of "57." Are you referring to catsup? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
