The wildcat head is the same for the MD3 and MD4. You just have to buy the MD4 body separately for now. Possibly to prevent people who don't know trying to run it on 4 x cr123 which the new version cannot handle.
Malkoff is a small company and tend to release their products in small numbers so you just have to be patient and wait for them to come back in stock then try and snag one quickly before they sell out again. Apparently they're planning to release a lot more of wildcats. The great thing about Malkoff is that they only sell stuff that they have in stock unlike some other manufacturers, so it's first come first served.
