Hi there folks,
I've been looking at the L35 as an entry level HID light and was wondering how it stacks up in the reliability department.
It won't be getting abused, but I am a little clumsy (I have dropped every light I own) and just wonder if it will survive a drop or two from say, no more than shoulder height.
Also, would the L50 be worth the extra $400 odd over the L35? Seems like a lot for just the extra output so I assume the cost is in the engineering and construction. If it is more robust, it would be very attractive considering the two output options.
Is there anything else in the sub $1000 mark that is comparable to these lights?
