OK, so not the brightest or the best but a pretty easy mod. Turn the ballast on a lathe to fit in the mag tube, cut the upper part of the mag switch and solder wires to the terminals. Solder the ballast wires to the wires on the switch. Build 3 spacers for 18650 or buy them. Open the tailcap to allow the spring to recess all the way in. Bend the spring in to allow contact with battery and you have a 10W HID. I did put 2 glass lenses from DX in the bezel. You could build a spacer for the bulb to make it look snug, but the ballast is a press fit so no movement there.
