All,

I just did a little un-secientific test to see how long my Rayovac Sportsman Extreme 300 would run on some eneloops in the D cell adapters.

Bottom line, very disappointing, approximately 4 hours usable light on high mode before dimming almost out.

I'll test low mode tomorrow once I cycle the eneloops.

Voltages after test were all around .9v

Looking at it that way I guess it is... 11 hours 45 min now and the LED;s are just barely glowing. No matter, its a great little lantern.

4 hours, 1900 ma.. about 475ma draw average is decent IMO. D cells at that current draw would last a loooooooooooong time though you don't get cheap lumens when you start buying them at $1+ each.
