Hi,

I was after a li-ion protection circuit module to make up some LI-ion battery packs.

I have seen a few specs for different circuits of this type on the web but cannot find any suppliers to buy them..

This is an example of what I mean for 1 cell applications.

If anyone know of anything similar for 4 cells then I would appreciate any info.

Also, what is the low voltage threshold for most li-ion cells? I thought it was around 2.6~2.7 volts, but many of the protection IC/circuits seem to be set at around 2.3 volts.

cheers

I've seen some protection IC's from Seiko Instruments. They have single, dual, and multiple cell configurations.
