pen recommendation

Hello CPF!

I would like a recommendation for a pen, and I am opting for
1. A full lightweight metal body (so preferably out of anodized aluminum)
2. Around 6 inches
3. preferably twist (unlike capped)
4. under $30

I have looked at many tactical pens such as the S&W M&P, the surefire pen1, and a few benchmades, and I like the surefire the best. However, it does not fit my price range. Are there any cheaper alternatives to choose from? I am especially looking for a pen that is fully metal with a 6 inch length.

thanks!

Although not full metal, I liked the feel of the Fisher Space Pen, particularly the Police Pro model. Its got a rubberized finish that was nice, and had good weight to it.

The Fisher space pen has a full metal version. Look around online to find it. It has a down click like a standard clicky pen but has a button on the side to retract. The Fisher refill writes really well and is more secure than most ball point pen inks. I carry one every day for writing on things that my fountain pen just won't work on.

Edit. It may be more than $30 though, my bad, didn't check.

You might try this one? Sorry, $38...

I picked one up a while ago, and have been happy with it.

+1

Here it is in the middle next to some Surefire and Benchmade pens.

I've been very happy with mine. I've been using it several times a week while working and it's still going strong and still looks like new.

Here's one of my older, long winded reviews...

Looks like the price actually went down since my review and they didn't go extinct either.
