Of all my LED flashlights (about 35 or so...), my favorite to date is my SL TL-2 LED, for the following reasons:

EXCELLENT throw for a 1W
great color...VERY white
very good peripheral light
uses 123s (my favorite cell type...)
EDCable
excellent run-time
fits almost all of my flashlight needs

What's yours (...list only 1, please!)

MadMax+ R2H, in a silver Mini-Mag. Like you said, it just fits most of my needs.

Candle mode, tight spot, adjustable to a decent flood (high dome w/NX05), cheap and readily available cells (AA NiMH/NiCD/lithium/alkaline).
Sometimes I even screw a different head on it with a McFlood.

I carry it in a swivel clip, with brass collar & button from the sandwich Shoppe.

I have brighter, longer runtime lights. Lights with more flood, smaller lights, etc. But none of them combine all the best traits in the necessary quantity like the MadMax+ R2H, and none are as white.

dat2zip, are you selling stock yet?

Opalec NewBeam 3LED mod for Minimag.

2AA batteries for 10 hours with low-battery indicator light
the more high output LED I own, the more I like it.

Nice and white and very bright.
Useful side spill.
Not too big.
There no longer being made.
Mr Bulks' work and service - both excellent.

Hula.

I guess my favorite (for right now anyway /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif) would be my most used which is my L4. Plenty of white flood light to see what I am looking for.

Gonna have to say ARC LSH for size, features, and outside of this forum, it is pretty damn unique and has alot of "WOW" power when called on to spank M*G AA's /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ow! This makes my head hurt! Only 1????

That one? No. LW2100??? No. The Starlux???? No. SNII??? No.SL3C10LED???. No.Attitude??? No.

They are all GREAT lights for many reasons.

But the little old ARC AAA is my favorite LED light. Because there is NO situation where it can not be with me! Even starkers it would be on a neck lanyard!

Can't say that about ANY of the others.

I'm just starting out with nicer flashlights but I have a Inova X5T white led that I really like. It's small, light and puts out a nice beam.

Favorite = Arc LSHP.

Oh, I have had love affairs with the Space Needle II, the SF A2, the L4 (I'm just starting ot get over that one). But I always come back to the Arc LSHP. It's the one I couldn't live without.

McLux.

Excellent beam. Regulated. Useful. Small. Ti clip. Standup tailcap. Exotic. Gorgeous. Six CPF geniuses built it.

Micro Illuminator AAA,
Stays on my keychain so it is always with me and available. Huge flood beam with strong hotspot in the center for spotting. Uses a common and cheap AAA battery for a 3 hour run time. The locking rear clickie switch for ease of operation and locks out to prevent pocket turn on. I can replace the body for $10 by moving the parts over. There is nothing like a R3H LS driven at 160mA to light up the night! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/buttrock.gif

That would be the ARC AAA HA LE that I gave to a longtime airline pilot friend whom had a need for it more that I did and hounded me for nearly 1 year to get it from me.

Currently it would have to be my new PM-6 with a DownBoy 400 1w drop-in (it actually screws in) module. It has a runtime to 50% brightness of 4+ hours. Nice tight beam with very usable spill.

Arc LSL-P: Compact, bright, takes a beating.

(Until the LS4 is available)

Just one? EEEEEHHHHH....

I just can't make up my mind. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rant.gif

I think my heads going to explode.

But after taking 6 points into consideration, IF I HAD TO, I would probably lean towards the MM+Q3
