I recently bought one of the SF-15 P-7 D-bin torches from D/X. I tested the current draw at the end cap and got a nominal reading of 2.5A on high. Mine is using a 5-mode driver. Im not really big into the efficiency of drivers but I thought someone here might be able to give me a ballpark idea of how much of that 2.5A is actually reaching the emitter. No way am I going to disconnect the power couplings to the emitter to test it myself. Any of you Torch disectors out there have an idea of what to expect? Thanks....
