Looking mostly at the NP300A and FR400A, but I suppose these apply to all in the two series:
1: Do flat-top cells work?
2: Any difference in brightness using 1 18650 versus, say, 2 RCR123s?
3: What are the available battery tube options for the lights? It sounds like there's quite a few.
