Now what to do with all my M@glites?

Thanks to this most informative forum, the wife and I now EDC a Fenix E01 and iTP A3 EOS upgrade, and as my first forays into this technology am way impressed. So as has occured to many others I would imagine, I now find myself with 4 Mags (Solitare, Mini, 3C and 4D cell) that just seem, well, useless.

Just started reading about upgrades and stopped after this one:



Strike Anywhere mod

• Fill the inside with strike anywhere matches instead of an AAA battery.
• More output then stock
• Can actually start fires

To funny! But considering what is now available out there at such reasonable cost I am thinking this pretty much says it all. As a newb, I do like the idea of common battery types and a DYI upgrade might keep me occupied over the winter and teach me a thing or two. Or maybe just keep the 4 3 cells in the cars more as a club and recycle the others along with the other no longer needed metal containers like empty soup cans.

Oh well, out with the old, in with the new I guess. I'll keep reading...
