Tritium Sphere Brightness, Usefulness?

Hello,

I know quite a few of you have the tritium spheres. I was wondering if you could describe them a bit for me?



Can you read by them? What size, color do you have and what can you do with it?



Do any of you have other tritium products that you could compare brightness to?

I havent used any of the spheres, but looking at a 4x20mm trit compared to the 5mm long ones, I would expect you to be able to read by one if you put it in the focal point of a reflector. Green is defintely the brightest, followed by ice blue.
