Nice to see him remembered on non-knife forums. I first met George in the late 90's at a Canadian Knifemaker's Guild show. I bought one of his knives within a couple of minutes of picking one up for the first time. He always had time to answer questions and he was a skilled artisan.
To be honest, CPF has a significant number of members who are really into knives; even though the forums are mainly about lights. It all started back in Jan. of 2008 when another member wanted a forum knife specific to CPF. And I have to be honest, if it wasn't for a brand new forum member (tensixteen) the project most likely would not have happened.
