I have a general question about better quality protected 18650 protected cells. More specifically, for instance, the newer AW 18650-29 2900MAh cells. How is the self discharge rate, and how does it stack up to the AA eneloop's low self discharge rate?

My glove box light is a Fenix LD20, which runs off two AA eneloops. I sometimes use it, but it usually just sits in my glove box. I take it out and charge the eneloops once ever three months, and they have like 90% charge left before I recharge them. What percent charge would my 18650-29s have if I upgrade my glovebox light to an 18650 light from AA and charge it once every three months? I might rarely use it, and if so, it would be momentarily. If I ever use my glovebox light for an extended period, I always bring it in and charge the eneloops.
