I've just received today some items from DX. I've ordered two 25500 batteries. I actually wanted IMR batteries but they are not available in this size. With these no mods are needed, they just slip into my Maglite.
However the one battery reads 0.0V. I did some searching and read that you can either parallel charge it with another battery or put it in a charger for a few seconds to activate the protection circuit.
That does not work. Must this battery be tossed? I am prepared to buy another set but I just dont like the 30 day waiting period for delivery.
