Soldering wires onto batteries

I cant even get this right.. Must you use a specific type or brand of solder wire to do this? I can't get mine to stuck. For safety reasons I also don't want to transfer too much heat to 3.7V batteries. Maybe that can be the reason? Not using enough heat?



Please help me out on this one.
