Merry Christmas everyone.
My friend has asked advice on his new LEDWAVE XP-1 Trooper.
It would seem that he currently runs 2xCR123's and wants the ability to recharge.
I can obviously offer 2x123A's + charger, but wondered what the stock emitter is?
If its not as good as some of the modern LEDs would it be worth upgrading him to an R5/R2 and a 17mm diameter, single 3.6v cell? He already has a charger for 3.6v cells, so this could be a cheaper option, particularly if the stock bulb works fine on 3.6v rather than 6v? Does anyone know what the emitter and Vf range is?
Thanks
