I was looking at the LD10 and see that the R5 is the newer one and I would guess it is better than the R4 version.
Battery Junction has the LD20 R4 and R5, but it lists the R4 as (new).
So why is this? Is this a misprint, or is the R4 a better emitter.
I posted earlier looking for a 1AA light and I think that I narrowed it down to the LD10, but now I have to decide which one and if I can justify the purchase.
