My wife volunteers for a fantastic organization in Northeast Ohio called PAWS (Public Animal Welfare Society). PAWS rescues homeless, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats. The backbone of the organization is its wonderful network of volunteers, and they operate on a shoestring budget.
PAWS has the chance to win a $25,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant during the month of January. In order to do this, they must finish in the top 10 for their category. Right now, they are #22 out of hundreds of applicants. You can vote once every day through January 31. Each day, you have to sign back in (which is a bit of a pain) but you can't imagine how much that money will do for PAWS. Your vote could help PAWS to save even more animals each year. Thank you!
