Just saw out at Manafont that they have a new UltraFire lantern that runs on AAs. Looks just like the Rayovak, but smaller.
I wont post a direct link but if you go to Manafont and search for Ultrafire Cree LED 3-Mode Camping and Garden Lantern you can see it.
Looks like a promising lantern to mod, but the price is a little high considering the real Rayovak is $25 at my local Lowes. Still, if I find something similar for cheaper elsewhere I might buy one for modding. I like the rubberized build of the Rayovak and this looks very similar.
