The 18650 cells and charger are really just for local non-flashaholics who don't want to go online and buy them. If you're on this forum, you probably know where to buy them cheaper elsewhere. Also, if you're not in Australia, I have to charge an extra $70 for postage (Australian regulations for lithium cells).


Copper Slugs:

Available for Cree XP or XR based LEDs (must specify when ordering). 15 of each are for sale.

Designed to make soldering to copper very easy (I do it on a regular stovetop).

Thermal pad is electrically isolated from both + and - contacts.
Has 2xM2 threaded holes so it can be attached to a headsink via screws and thermal paste or just thermal glue.
Big surface area for contact with heatsink.
Fits in the common brass P60 pills(can be bought from DX for under $3) NB: the threaded holes may or may not line up with the holes in your brass pill. So you can either drill new holes or enlarge the existing ones. Or you can just do what I do and glue it in with AA.
LED not included.

Fits in most p60 hosts. Check your dimensions. You'll need at least 27.3mm diameter inside your head to be sure.

P60 Spacer + Aspheric Lens Kit - Version 3 - 4th batch - Available now!

For use with a 27.2mm lens and a M20x1.0mm threaded pill (the pill can be bought on DX for a few dollars).

(Sadly a lot of the discussion was lost in the crash but I salvaged what I could find)

New spacer:





The Version - 3 kit details:

• Bottom spacer is Sandblasted and black anodised aluminium.
• Slightly narrower than the first version to fit in more hosts.
• Includes a printed plastic ring to push the lens into the head for protection. This goes in front of the lens (on top in the above image). Many hosts don't need this. This ring is longer than you need, but easily trimmed or sanded to the correct length since it is only ABS plastic.
• Adjustable. So you'll need to put a drop of glue or thread locker in the threads before adjusting to the perfect focus and leaving it to cure. Very easy to do without any skill. It should also open up the possibility to use it with more LEDs than just the XR-E, XP-E2, XP-E, XP-G2, XP-G, XM-L etc.

Kit Includes: One lens, one spacer, one ring.

I bought the lens and kit but can't figure out how to get it working with my Deerelight CL1H v3. 2 spacers covers all of the threads for the head. 1 spacer doesn't push the pill deep enough to make contact with the battery. Has anyone used this host and has some advice? Thanks.

As for the Dereelight, is it possible trim down a ring? Are you trying to do it with or without the front lens. You can probably also stretch the spring on the dropin to help it make contact.

I would like a lens kit and I live in Canada, if your not selling the spacer thingy that holds it in place but I can swap the aspheric lens in place of a solarforce lens then that's cool by me too. I'm guessing I'm not eligible for the USA group buy I'll check in here for a little clarity.

It's a little more work than just swapping the lens. You also need to focus it which means using my spacer or making one yourself. Not hard to do, just time consuming.

I also can't confirm the solarforce lens size. You'll need to measure it to make sure that my lens will fit.

I tried with the lens off. Even with a trimmed 2nd spacer I think too many threads will be covered. The CL1H has a different head setup than other p60 hosts as shown in review at http://www.cpfreviews.com/Dereelight-CL1H.php. Maybe I should just try the kit in my SF C2.

I don't think anyone really managed to get the aspheric behind the stock lens in any flashlight. The P60 form just isn't long enough for it.

Most people either put it exactly where the original lens was or just a few mm deeper into the head. Usually relying on some sort of crenelations to protect the lens.

I'm very close to getting a new batch of spacers made. They will be just a tiny bit narrower than the previous ones and should fit in a few more hosts. Hopefully I'll have them in late April.

The price for a kit will be about $25 (I'll confirm when I have them). They were a little cheaper last time because it was a pre-sale and everyone was taking a risk. I'm still a long way from breaking even on the lenses so I'm going to charge a little extra.

I don't think the P60 format can transfer the heat well enough from an SST-90. So if it doesn't burn, then it will soon dim. Of course I'm sure you know this and will work around it as much as possible.

The thread on the spacer and pill should allow a bit of focusing range. I think the focal distance with the SST-90 is a little longer so you'll only have to unscrew it to make it work. Hopefully there is enough thread on both pill and spacer. I haven't done this myself so you'll have to experiment.

i have an old-style surefire 6P head, the kind that came with a stock plastic lens.

this wouldn't work to modify to an aspheric lens w/ spacer, because there are no threads on this bezel, right?

otherwise, could i get a 27.2mm lens (w/ kit) to fit a solarforce L2 head?
