While waiting for my Tenergy D cells to fully charge I played with the gritty new switch.
All is great now, this thing is crazy bright. The build quality is top notch.
It can nearly throw as far as my M40A ( the brightest LED light I had until this guy) and the drop-in puts out 50% more light in a ceiling bounce test, amazing when you consider the smaller reflector.
Oh and IMHO the pins really are not needed, one can use chopsticks, metal tipped pens, finish nails just about anything small enough to fit in one hole, I used a Ti spike.

I may have to order another.
