SO I ordered some 14mm pcb boards from KAI and using some solder paste along with a frying pan on the burners I was able to reflow the bare XM-L's onto the 14mm rounds. And they work, I know I was too amazed. So you can reflow on a stove. who knew. that is all just sharing my joy.
