maglite Extension Tube for C Cell Lights

I have been considering investing some money in contracting a local machine shop to fabticate some extension tubes for C AA cell maglights. After searching for several weeks for a 5 or 6 cell C maglite I guess this is the best option. Does anyone here know if this is feasible? Will most small machine shops take on a job like this or will I have a hard time finding somebody to do such a small job? It seems like it would be fairly simple for a machinest to to do. I would like to have several 1 2 cell extensions made for C cell and 1 cell for AA. If I can get this done I will make them available here. Anyway if anyone on here has metal work/machinest experience and an give me some insight I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
