hi . looking at dissassembly of a aaa xpg r5 head.
there is a small titanium ring infront of the lens, if i can remove it then the oring and reflector might come out.
im travelling a new road here.
heat the head then cool the ring ? but i dont want to mark anything- its all lovely titanium. and clear lens.
going in the other way, theres no obvious way to get purchase on the 'pill'.
this one has 2 posts that work as switchs as you twist the torch. removal of the posts would leave 2 lovely holes for tools to fit. theres a few chinese brands that use this constuction, maybe they just pop in and out ?
im sure this has been covered many times in cpf but i couldnt find it.
