Android has changed my contacts order, HELP!

Hello all,



Im after some help off you Android users. I have just got a new phone, and after years of Sony handsets with buttons (very easy to use!) Ive decided to get down with the kids and get a touchscreen Android handset. Im like a fish out of water and its all new to me (its version 2.2.1) i will pick it up eventually, BUT! it has changed all my contacts to last name/word first which is a pain.



I used to have everyone under first name (easy) but its all flipped so instead of Claire Mobile its now Mobile, Claire...........and so on why oh why is there not an option that i can find to change it back!



anyone know how? this would be a huge help!

go into contacts then bring up options menu (left hand key) >display options>3rd option down is contact format
