Need replacment charger for cordless inflator

Hi.

My next-door neighbour has lost the charger , it says on the inflater that it needs 12volt adaptor.

Does anybody know if an multi-voltage adaptor will work as a replacement charger?

There are many types of chargers/adaptors available.

You need to do a wee bit of homework (research) to find out more about what it is you need.

First you should try to contact the manufacture of the original piece of equipment. Provide the model and serial number and they should have what you need.

If that's not available, you'll need to find the correct polarity of both devices charger and equipment so they match, when you plug it in.
Then you'll need to know how many mA (milliamp) the charger puts out. A higher rated charger is ok but a rating too low could result in overworking your charger and it may brun out or overheat.
Then of course you need to know the correct plug-in (connectors) between charger and equipment. Some of those plug-ins look very close
As far as those multi-chargers are concerned, I'd be careful as they may not be rated high enough for current draw. You might get lucky and it works, but be aware. Those multi-adaptors are good for small peices of equipment and this all depends on the current draw on your inflator
