Epic fail if they aimed at promoting modern British lighting or interior design. Maybe the lamp was really designed to stimulate rapid beverage consumption in the hospitality sector by making the food and people look less attractive? I can't find technical excellence in the specs[1], and offering the public a power factor figure of "50" is enough of a warning signal, imho.
