Great photos and collection Cary! You have been busy acquiring some beauties. We need to see your entire collection in one shot. I have to round mine up for an updated group shot myself.
I love that last pic of the tailcap of your 26650 Knurly.
Barbarian : Thank you my friend for the words. Will do a collection shot just as you request.
Just can't help keep buying Mac's light. I think im just about to order another knurly in AL. I really like the design.

Yes indeed!
I have a Copper E2C Adaptor made by TnC. Originally I treated it with saltwater every day for a week and let it sit outside in humid summer weather while I was at work, then used soapy water to clean off the green corrosion every evening before repeating the treatment. It developed a nice dark finish, but the spaces between the heatsink fins were reacting somewhat differently, probably because TnC couldn't reach into them to polish the raw-machined metal before delivery. That wouldn't be an issue on the smooth design of Mac's EDC lights though.
Ultimately I opted to use chemical brass blackener to turn it black, and then scuffed off some of the black coating with a Scotch-Brite pad, because I wanted a finish that would be more consistent and require less maintenance over the course of years. It looks like this:

However, since this is a photo thread for Mac's lights, here are my photos of the SST-50 I used to have. Someone else is enjoying it now.

Congratulations, you discovered the humor hidden in my comment. *hands rda1 a cookie*
Tarnishing at all is tarnishing too fast. I love the way bright copper looks, but I hate having to polish it. That's why I went with the artificially-enhanced patina on the one copper piece I own, because then at least I wouldn't have to deal with a finish that keeps changing when I touch the light. I like my tools to look as functional and inorganic as they actually are. YMMV.
