McGizmo Haiku Review Mac's Tri EDC Review MY LIGHTS!! Why buy a cheap bright light when a dim expensive one will do?
Mine is a BB TI TRI . . . HI CRI! (with a super low low . . . )

Fantastic! The BB gives it an almost pearlescent appearance, really interesting in those pics. I am about to send Frank a message about doing some fiddling with my Tri as well.![]()

Nick, I'm glad to see that you finally bought an EDC light from Mac. Smooth is the word brother.
Shelby, I know you love that beautiful high CRI light. I enjoy all of your photos.
I'm guessing glow powder under the optic legs + long exposure photography.
Here's one of my tri next to the low of my Sunwayman . . .
pretty great!

Now I get to show off as well! My lights arrived today!!!!!
2x Copper Tri-EDCs, one in neutral, one in Hi CRI!!
I wanted to give them a light polish to give them a shiny look, the one on the right has been polished lightly, and the one on the left is how i received them.
polished on the left, unpolished on right.
Now both polished.
neutral tint on the right, Hi CRI on left.
Now all together!

Big thumbs up for the carried one - looks great!
Marduke - Solitaire...I've seen matches which are brighter AND have a longer runtime. 光陰矢の如し

I may not be that bright, but my lights are!

Take the clip off while you're getting the patina started. That way you won't have a bright spot under the clip.
Having fun with my mac.
The Titanium SST-50 EDC is my first Mac. I hate this light, cause it just got me in to a hole that i can't climb out.

How much it cost to stone wash one of these lights?![]()

Absolutely awesome! Great work Barry! I would seriously consider having you do my Ti Tri. The finish is getting scratched up by my Haiku. The stonewashed should hold up pretty well to abrasion right?

Thank you for your kind words
Because stone washing imparts a finely scratched surface it hides new scratches pretty well. Chris does an awesome job machining this light & blending all the sharp edges so that they melt into each other. Stone wash on this light comes out well because of the detailed work he put into making it. If you examine the front & back closely you'll see how nicely the lines flow into each other:

Very nice! I really like the stonewashed finish. Anyone have pictures of the Tri-EDC with the crenelated bezel?
Beautiful, Jake.
...and He separated the light from darkness. Check out my lights.
