Ikea (Europe) has started selling LED lights. While not that bright as yet they are interesting as it brings them to the mass market and also they are relatively cheap, being ikea.

I also have a Philips LED GU10 to compare with, Philips 3w LED Econic GU10 Spot 250 lumens. The Ikea is a warmer colour, its not as bright but pretty close in my setup with a similar beam spread.
