This all-Ti EDC was custom made for an owner who specified certain features and let me run with the rest. We ended up with an XP-G run by a 1.4A 3-level driver housed in a copper light engine. The battery is an AW RCR123. A very deep 20mm reflector produces surprising throw for such a small light. Length is about 3.8" and maximum diameter at the hex is 1".

We usually like to see lights displayed in color but tinges of color in this set were distracting so they were converted to grayscale in Photoshop. Since Ti is a very neutral gray anyway, the color rendition is pretty accurate. ;)

Gorgeous light David. Love the tail end and the hex. I struggled to find any seams at all but just managed to spot the finest line above the hex. Magnificent work!

Seams there are, but perhaps not where you thought:

The o-ring, glass, reflector and light engine load into the head from the rear.
The battery loads at the front of the tube. The switch and boot are held by the retaining ring, which also serves as an effective grip ring.

Thanks, Will! Most importantly, the new owner seems pleased.
Oh, he is. :)

The light is, not surprisingly, very high quality - perfect machining, perfect threading, Rolex-like in its precision. I'd classify it as McGizmoesque. I think we can safely assume that saltytri has made it to the Bigs. What I appreciate about this little gem is how it feels in the hand, and its beautiful light engine. The three modes and the UI remind me of a Mac EDC - extremely bright, white output on a 3 mode driver. I'll be investing in more Saltytri lights in the future, that's for sure.

Congrats 'dad. I can see now that its similar in design to your 2-tone Alu-bronze/Ti light, only pocket sized and of course, all Ti. :)
