I just learned of this today. It appears to basically be a D-cell version of the TK41. There is very little information so far, but here is some good information and photos:

Just wondering what LED are they going to use. Because it is impossible to get 1000 ANSI lumens with XM-L (without heavy overdriving). Or do they mean 1000 emitter lumens?

According to Cree's XM-L specs for the T6, 910 emitter lumens is what you get with 3 amps. I'd guess that 800 ANSI lumens is about right. I don't know how they'll get 1,000 ANSI without overdriving. Perhaps they're very confident in the heat sinking.

Nice, but I'm still waiting for the TK70. This TK60 is just like the TK41, but then with D-cells.
(Yes, the TK60 is indeed brighter)

For those who are interested. Wayne at Elektrolumens has already announced the idea of selling a Blaster NG with an XML, brute of a light, much more hefty than most, good heat sinking and about 1000 lumens too.

Think it will be about $150.

738 Yuan = about 79.25 Euro. Nice, but I don't think that it will be available for that price. Think it will go here for €130,- ( just like the TK41)
In Germany you can get it for 120 incl. free worldwide shipping.
