So I saw this little light and decided to give it a try as a modder. Got it yeasterday. In stock fashion, it is a cool light. However, the magnet is not strong to make it turn on. Damn! I have contacted them and we will see if I ever get one that works.

Looks interesting. What mods do you have in mind?
I guess a XP-G would be a good starting point.

Not sure what I wanted to do... Just thought I would get it and see. I was thinking XML, but it would have to run on 2 CR123 and would only get about 30 minutes run time... May be use as a canister light head???

OK, so me have news good... Magnet in light unstrong enough to work light in high tech self intellectual lighting system...

OK, really... I got the light to operate with the stock magnet. For some reason it just started working. Sometimes I have to hit it to make it work, but it works. I tested to 265' max for a total of 8 hours or so and it was totally dry after the time. Overall a great light for the $55. Tail cap amps showed about 0.76 amps and battery voltage static was 4.0 volts. I have a 16mm XML coming for some playing around along with a kaidonaim 18mm driver board. This should make an interesting build!

Will have to wait, going diving in Cozumel later this week.

Back from Cozumel and dove 14 dives with the light attached to me. Max depth 134'. I actually used it on two night dives. The light performed well. I really like this little light. This one will make it to tlslights.com inventory...

Does this mean you're going to start selling the light on your website? :) Did you do any modifications to it? My "small" light is a UK SL4 with the DX R2 dropin. I'm looking for a smaller light though.

Yes, I will be carrying these. I have not modded one yet, but I have a buddy who wants a UV one so that will probably be the first. Price will be $55-60 plus ship and Paypal. The light comes with 1 18650 battery, single cell charger, lanyard and a spare set of orings. It is manufacturer rated to 150m and I have personallly tested to 265'.
Thanks
