This thread is only for people who is still waiting for a full order or a partial one from Lummi by Rob Cheetham (aka Orb).

I think it would be a good idea if we could know how many orders are still not sent (entirely or partially) and how much money is involved.

I suggest all of us to follow always the same format to make it easier to understand, please. Put it twice if you have made more than one order, one per order:

5/27 Update: Paypal Resolution process started. Still no communications from Lummi.
5/31 Update: Lummi responded to the PayPal dispute over the weekend. Seems that the only way to force a response from him maybe? Received notice that my light has been shipped without the locators and battery charger. No ETA given for when the remaining items will be available.
6/7 Update: Received my Raw NS with key ring and battery. Awaiting Trits and Charger.

My last response from him on May 20, 2011 was that he needed to get funds together to purchase components and to give him a few more weeks.

1/20/11 - Update requested, "It is the battery Springs we are waiting for now.
These are due in on the 27th of this month."

I do still have Blue if these are acceptable, sorry for any trouble"
2/10/11 - agreed to replacement of blue locators.
3/3/11 and 3/16/11 - further requests for updates
3/17/11 - "currently waiting for the 14250 batteries which are on back order.
These are expected to arrive within the next 3 weeks. Once the 14250 batteries arrive your Raw NS can dispatch. Locators will be around 6 weeks & could follow later for you to install."
3/17/11 - Agreed to wait for fully assembled light
6/9/11 - Update requested, "We are still waiting for Locators. The expected delivery date is late July"
6/9/11 - agreed to take light as assembled and for locators to ship seperately.

Hopefuly the light can be delivered soon, will keep updated.

I`m a german Student with less money . For me, Rob is a desaster.
I`m thinkig about the opinion, to write to all his Facebook contacts and to the contacts of his wife too.
I will ask them about rob´s cash flow problems and all the other creasy stuff like this.

Hi,

Here are the details of my very sad dealings with Rob/Lummi.

Day order was placed: 5th of march 2009, even two or three transactions in april 2009.

Situation: I have received several excuses from Rob who has now stopped to reply to my emails altogether. I have written one last email to him today, stating that I will report him to the police (for fraud) if he doesn't reply.

Since I live in Sweden it is a bit difficult to contact the appropriate authorities. However, I discovered the following website that is open to people from outside the UK: http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/. Seeing that Rob has launched a new website with new products I think it is important to stop his very dubious business practices.

Just for kicks. I sent a inquiry through his email stated on his website requesting wait time "IF I ORDERED TODAY" Within 2 hrs I had a email response back 10 days from payment to shipping product.

It seems he is responsive to new funds, but ignoring all the past due builds. Sad indeed, good luck to those waiting.

Situation: I am fed up with being made a fool of and all those empty promises. I finally requested a full refund which Rob promised me to send "as very soon as possible" which he after being asked defines as "as soon as he has some funds to send". And nobody knows better than us what this means - it means that as soon as somebody else is as naive as we were I might have a chance to get at least parts of my money.
Actually I am at a point where I already started to investigate if and how I can take any legal action from out of germany.

Today I finally received my Wees (and all accessories) and it seems that Rob has much better control over his order management process now. Also mail contact and responsiveness has extremely improved.

I would even say that if you ask him via mail what is currently available prior ordering you will get your stuff in reasonable time.

Hey morimotom, paddyie and some others, are you sure that package was included in the price? This detail is pretty important since it costs a lot (7 GBP or more) having in mind that the packages are sent without tracking number and they are pretty slow to arrive. Please, check that detail and correct it if it's wrong.

Please bestimmer could you edit your post using GBP? Since it's the currency that Lummi uses it will be easier to calculate total involved without doing conversion (which depends on the moment of the day). Correct me if I am wrong, but I think your order was (if it was really 7 GBP for the shipping): (49+49+15+15+4+8+3+15+3+3+48+7+1+7) = 227 GBP.

Now, the total involved so far:

Happy to say that yesterday 11 July 2011 I recieved the Wee SS and the Raw AU and as people say they are a gorgeous piece of engineering, any way just the Wee Ti to come now but I would have to say that it shows commitment on Robs part to actually deliver at this stage. I can only wish him well in his future endeavours and hope he can make good on the outstanding orders he has. If jalbam gets a chance perhaps he would like to update the totals in his first post again.

I have placed multiple orders from Lummi. The first four were filled. My most recent order for a Raw Ti was left completely unfulfilled. Before ordering the light I confirmed with Rob that it was in stock. Rob said it would be sent within 10 days. Something apparently went wrong. That was almost a year ago. I have exchanged dozens of emails over the past year. He always responds. But I don't think I'm going to end up getting my light. If the order is ever fulfilled I'll update this post.
