There seem to be quite a lot of plastic and metal bodied halogen spotlights that make good hosts for HID mods. Are there any in particular that modders have found to be very good for any reason?
I'd like to build something, but most of the lights I've tried working with felt very cheap, and difficult to disassemble and reassemble due to crappy construction... metal screws in to plastic, for instance. Also, the two HID searchlights that I have are a bit "mushy"...the handles aren't solid.
