I bought a 5mW 532nm laser from ebay a few weeks ago, thinking It'd have a potentiometer on the board. Unfortunately after trying to disassemble the thing and then drill through the sides carefully, I got to the point where there just is no potentiometer and simply SMD parts.
I've searched high and low on how to mod these with no success. I do know the risks of modding them, I do work with smd parts all the time and have adequate soldering ability, I just don't know what to remove or add.
Anyone have any idea what to remove on these boards with a few resistors and what appear to be voltage regulators? :duh2:
