XP-G on a XP-E board works??

im looking to buy some 14mm XP-G boards. but cant find any... I have found XP-E 14mm boards though.

does anybody know if XP-G emitters will work with XP-E boards?

You can use a pcb for xp-e with an xp-g led.
I modded my fenix E21 that has a xp-e R2.
Removed the (glued) head with some difficulty, then removed the pcb with the xp-e, removed the led, reflowed an xp-g, and now i have a nice neutral xp-g R4 flashlight! Like LD25!

the XP-G and XP-E looks to be the same dimensions and everything, just wanted to comfirm that its ok to do.

btw, i love mazda rotaries... i used to have a turboII. and a rx3, but sold it before i could finish restoring it... a regretable mistake.
