Help identify this 17mm driver?

Can anyone help identify this driver?




It's a 3-mode (H-M-L) driver. I put it in a single 18650 host with an XM-L T6 LED and it's drawing 3.20A on high, 1.00A on medium, and 0.33A on low at the tailcap.

that llooks very similar to a KD P7 driver i got shipped by mistake once

think its a single Li-ion cell 2.8 A max driver using pwm for the levels

that looks like it

i dont think its possible to disable the strob or sos, as they are coded into the microchip.

i know others have tweeked multimode drivers to be single mode, but thats all that can be done i believe.

unless you cant work out what microchip is used, and re-program it

Upon closer inspection it seems that the two drivers are quite a bit different. This photo is from the KD website. I rotated it so that it would be easier to compare the locations of the components.

Thanks kosPap. I asked one of the merchants selling this on eBay for more info (how many modes, current, etc.) but they didn't get back to me. Did you buy one of these?
